Divan-ı Hikmet (Book of Wisdom) is a collection of Sufi poems attributed to Ahmad Yasawi, a leading figure of Turkic Sufism in the twelfth century.
Written in language accessible to ordinary people, these poems explore love of God, spiritual discipline, humility, justice, and the transience of worldly life. The collection helped spread Sufi thought among Turkic-speaking communities and left a lasting mark on their literature and culture.
